Dr. Peter Jackson is executive director of the AMR Centre, a UK public-private partnership focused on antimicrobial resistance R&D, and an alliance partner of the transatlantic CARB-X initiative.

An experienced life sciences entrepreneur, Dr. Jackson is the founder of five current life sciences ventures. Dr. Jackson has over 25 years of experience in the sector, having previously held senior executive roles as a commercial director and then head of Avecia’s Pharmaceutical Products business unit, following senior commercial and R&D positions at Zeneca and ICI. He was the founder director of the UK's National Skills Academy for the process industries.
