We live in the VUCA world that brings us surprises every day. A number of trends, however, have already taken off - power migrates towards data keepers, robots strengthen their presence with employers, IT penetrates everywhere, people start to forget the multiplication table, and transformations gather pace. Today, the companies squeeze the most of the functions’ management, and reserves are used for the cross-functional model of interaction and digitization. The digital race has started, where speed matters.
How are we going to survive in the new world where access to the data, ability to interpret it and to make right and quick decisions give a competitive edge? How will the data affect the management? Should everyone run after technology giants? What management techniques used by technology champions are good for others? What is the difference between “Team” and “Teaming”, or between “agile” and “kaizen”? How can those who were hierarchy-oriented and private become flexible and public? Do they really need to do that?
